The group consists of Knut Kiesewetter, Joachim Kipka (from the Roland Trio) as well as Kurth Stephan and Richard Gatermann (also from the Roland Trio; as a duo they call themselves Tom & Tommy). With a German version of the gospel song "Michael" the Tramps entered the charts in 1961: "Am Missouri" (producer: Jimmy Bowien).
