Who was/is Dodie Randle ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more
Dodie Randle sounds positively overheated on Man Hunt, her only Decca platter in December of ’56. Biographical info on Dodie seems to be nonexistent; ditto her musical director, Danny Budd, and the composers of both sides of her single (she’s scarcely less boisterous on the B-side, I Fell In Love Again). The session was held in Los Angeles with jazz guitar great Barney Kessel copping adventurous solos.
