geb. 26. 6. 1926 in Jenkins - Kentucky Record Labels: County, Montana Country Kenny Baker gilt als einer der besten und bekanntesten 0ld-Time- und Bluegrassfiddler. Von 1956 bis Mitte der 80er Jahre arbeitete er in der Band von Bill Monroe. Daneben war er immer ein gesuchter Sessionmusiker, der mit zahlreichen Bluegrassbands Schallplatten einspielte. Seit 1968 hat er für County Records eine ganze Reihe von Solo-L.P.s eingespielt.
