Who was/is Frank Dalton ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

The amusing stop-time rocker Cruised, built around a blues riff lifted from The Robins’ Framed, was the lone Mercury release by Frank Dalton and The Dalton Gang. The 1961 rocker was penned by Chicagoan Eddie Mascari, half of the braintrust behind The Counts’ Shake The Town. Mascari also co-wrote the flip of Dalton’s lone shot at stardom, the Bo Diddleyish novelty rocker Quick Draw McGraw (a takeoff on a then-popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon).
