It's good that we finally have the live album. Supported by his longtime partner Baker and Roettger Abi provides an independent, varied program, to trips ranging from ancient classics him rootsige Country Blue, blue distant climes. Good recording, which one gives you the feeling to be in the middle. A strong, rousing album, highly recommended

Abi - Hamburg Blues veteran, on the road for the past 50 years. An outstanding European Blues musician, he has been recognized with numerous awards.

His trademarks: the raspy voice, an eight-string guitar and an orchestral style - bass lines, chords, riffs and melodies played simultaneously. He focuses on fewer but important notes and groovy, almost hypnotic rhythms.
