The fan community continues to grow thanks to the Internet and satellite, and the first Monday of the month is no longer 'only' a compulsory date for listeners from the immediate broadcasting area.

The response to the search for hidden record treasures is not only shown by the hot running telephone lines during the broadcast, but also by the immense listener mail afterwards!

With this programme, we at Bremen Eins once again underline our competence in the field of oldies and at the same time offer oldies fans a service that is second to none in the German radio landscape.

I am pleased about the third CD, which the Oldie stock exchange experts Dirk Böhling and Thomas Schönherr present.

Title-giving is a column of the monthly transmission, which offers once more a singularness.

Cover & Original' unites well-known titles and their well-done post-productions on one sound carrier and presents a considerable number of rarities, which can be found for the first time on one CD!

After '10 Jahre Oldiebörse' and 'ON AIR - die bekannten Erkennungsmelodien aus 60 Jahre Radio Bremen' this is the third trick of the Oldiebörse.

When I met Thomas Schönherr in 1995 in a hotel bar in Bremen, I could not know what the consequences of this encounter would be. The relaxed appointment to perhaps do something 'oldies' together on the radio became a long and successful cooperation and a radio format that is unparalleled in Germany. Today the OLDIE-BÖRSE is a guarantor for the successful search for lost record treasures and a pool of rarities of rock and pop history of past decades. Bremen's largest record collector became a reliable contact in the search for titles - Thomas Schönherr meticulously and passionately searched and found everything that many people had grown in heart and ear musically for his listeners. Countless letters, faxes and emails testify to the gratitude and joy of our 'customers', who are now scattered far beyond our broadcasting area.

Thomas Schönherr and Dirk Böhling, the Oldie Stock Exchange team on 'bremen eins', have released several CD albums for Bear Family with acoustic rarities that not only make the hearts of radio listeners beat faster:
