Who was/is Tune Wranglers ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

My Blue-Eyed Jane was written by Lulu Belle White, a niece of Elsie McWilliams' husband. McWilliams no doubt polished it up, but if it were not for Jimmie Rodgers' jazzed-up version, it would have just been another sentimental love song with pedestrian lyrics. The Tune Wranglers, a San Antonio-based western swing band led by Buster Coward, took practically everything at a sprightly tempo, and did the same with this song, retitled by Eli Oberstein to avoid royalty payments. Although the band members didn't always play in the same key, they made up for it in exuberance and rhythm, turning the song into a rhythmic romp.
