This is the 3rd album by Thirsty Moon, originally recorded in 1974, released in early 1975 on the famous German label BRAIN.
All instruments were played by the band founders Jürgen and Norbert Drogies. The album is far from being a solo album, the Drogies brothers created a real 'band sound' following the tracks of the first two albums, but without the jazz influence. The sound on 'Blitz' is more rock-oriented, complemented by electronic loops and synthesizer gimmicks, still based on great guitar playing and varied drumming.
'Blitz' still contains many distinctive elements typical of Thirsty Moon.
For the first time a CD is released, remastered from the master tape, with three bonus tracks, including an outtake from the 'Blitz' recording session and both tracks from the 1977 7' I'll sing your song / Caught.
With 12-page booklet, never before seen photos and liner notes by bandleader Jürgen Drogies. A must for all lovers of Thirsty Moon and Krautrock.
