Alright — You asked for it, now you're gonna get it!

Folks have been clamoring for some time now to have a live recording of us. Something with just the trio playing a venue like we usually do. Well, we figured we needed to do this in a joint we work regularly and couldn't think of a better one than Charlie-O's World Famous, right there in downtown Montpelier, the Vermont State Capital. We've been gigging Charlie-O's for a number of years now We love pickin an' singin' there and are one of their favorite, best drawing bands. And they've always got cold Millers for us! Charlie-O's has been a lunch room and tavern since The War Between The States and is located in reputedly the oldest building in downtown Montpelier.

This bar is one of the last real honky-tonks in Vermont and kind of unusual in it's location. Folks of various ages and all walks of life line the stools, hit the hardwood and play the pool tables there each and every night. It is a little watering- hole that's big on soul! So we had a gig there in October, 2007 (right before Danny C's 60th birthday — what a present... and in his hometown to boot!). The place was packed, the booze was flowing. The crowd was revved-up right from the front door opening, along with MC Charlie Papillo's intro to our first number, until the final chord was struck, the last lyric sung and a 'Yee Haw' farewell.

This CD brings you a typical 75 minute energized Starline set featuring a variety of covers and some originals. Turn up your player, have a cold one and enjoy! Thanks to Charlie-O's owner JeffJacobs and manager Jen Rollins for hosting the event; to barkeeps Nell Chap, Sarah Cleland, Jason Gerrish and Charis Churchill for always fine service; to Chuck 'In the Truck' for remarkable on-scene recording under some tough conditions; to Lane for masterful mixing (73min, 59.26 secs —you got it, boy!); to Matt for magnificent mastering; to Jack for prize photos; to Tom for dynamite design work; to Sean for professional production and pickin'; to Kevin for some stellar steel and to Charlie for mighty MC work.
