Gary Smith, member of the original Charles Ford Band in 1969, was one of the first professional harp players in the bay area. He's famous for his big fat tone. Paris Slim has been a mainstay on Oakland's blues scene for yaers, and the rhythm section is one of the best in that region. Superb traditional harp-driven album. GARY SMITH - hca/voc, PARIS SLIM - gtr/voc, JOHNNY ACE - bass, WALTER SHUFFLESWORTH - drums.
