Tony Ronald wurde 1940 als Ton Den Boer im holländischen Arnheim geboren. Von 1961 bis 1969 nahm er unzählige Platten mit seiner Band, den Kroners, auf. Geographische Basis für seine Karriere war Barcelona. Ich fand Dinah ist eine seiner wenigen deutschen Aufnahmen. Weshalb aus I Found Carol bei ihm Ich fand Dinah wurde, ist einfach zu erklären: Reim-technische Gründe machten den Namenswechsel erforderlich.
