Tributes ok, but what is a concept album? Concept abums are very interesting due to its certain theme and its musical variety most of the time. A simple Christmas compilation would be too easy to explain concept albums. The better examples are two Bear Family releases, 'Teenagers And Youth In Music 1951-1960' which is thematically on 1950s teens and youngsters and their experiences, and 'Easter Bunny Hop' which thematizes the Easter season with a twinkle. Oh, by the way, Bear Family is so far the only record company that put out an Easter compilation. At least we will stay as the first one that did it.
