Record Labels: Columbia, Permian, Enigma, Wrestler Erster Hit: Under Loved & Over Lonely (1983) “Country mit einem Hauch von Blues“, so bezeichnet man gerne die Musik der Katy Moffatt, die bis jetzt nur geringen Hitparadenerfolg zu verzeichnen hatte, aber die sich dafür mehr und mehr aufs Komponieren verlegt genauso wie ihr inzwischen schon berühmter Bruder Hugh Moffatt. 1986 war Katy Moffatt die große Attraktion beim Folk-Festival in Kerrville/Texas. Inzwischen hat auch das europäische Konzert- und Festivalpublikum das „Energiebündel“ Katy Moffatt erlebt und festgestellt, dass diese Künstlerin den Vergleich mit den großen Stars nicht zu scheuen braucht Eine große Karriere auch als Performer könnte vor Katy Moffatt liegen.
