Missing Link

In March 1972 the jazzman Volker Kriegel released the LP "Inside: Missing Link" - in October of the same year the Munich group "Missing Link" recorded the LP "Nevergreen": Both have nothing to do with each other, although stylistically they are not very far apart. Missing Link consisted of saxophonist Günther Latuschik, solo guitarist Markus Sing, singer Gabriel Dominik Mueller, pianist and organist Dieter Miekautsch (from October 1973 to March 1974 with Missus Beastly, now Embryo(, bassist Dave Schratzenstaller and drummer Holger Brandt (played on the Peter-Michael-Hamel-LP "Hesse Between Music" in late 1974). The LP was produced by the later Ike-Et-Tina-Turner-Manager and producer Gerhard Augustin. Practically, however, the group had only come together for this one LP, it broke up again shortly after the recordings, without
to have ever gotten into conversation. Nevertheless, the record has become a collector's item and has also been the subject of some discussion in the USA.
