geb. 29. 11. 1941 in Phoenix/Arizona Record Labels: Capitol, Epic Erster Top Ten Hit: Queen Of The House (1965) Die Musik der Sängerin Jody Miller war immer ein bisschen schwer einzuordnen. Sie bewegte sich zwischen Country, Folk und Pop und ließ jenen bekannten ,Twang“, der Country Sänger und Sängerinnen normalerweise auszeichnet, fast völlig vermissen. Von Mitte der 60er bis Anfang der 70er Jahre konnte sie ein paar Top Ten Hits verbuchen, blieb aber dann später im Mittelmaß stecken. Ihr erster Top Ten Erfolg hieß „Queen Of The House“, die Antwort auf Roger Mi1ler's ,King Of The Road“.
