Record Labels: Epic, RCA Erster Hit: Put It On Me (1978) Erster Top Ten Hit: Save Me (1983) Louise Mandrell, die jüngere Schwester von Barbara Mandrell, arbeitete zunächst bei der Familien-Gruppe „The Mandrells“. Als sie 15 Jahre alt war schloss sie sich den ,DoRites“ an, der Backup-Gruppe ihrer Schwester. Später fand man sie in den Bands von Stu Phillips und Merle Haggard und schließlich bekam Louise Mandrell Ende der 70er Jahre ihren ersten Schallplattenvertrag. Sie heiratete den Sänger R.C.Bannon, mit dem sie zusammen auch zu RCA überwechselte.
