The Welsh rock band Man made waves in 1969 with their debut album Revelation. The twin-guitar attack with Roger Deke Leonard and Mike Jones led to comparisons with Quicksilver Messenger Service.
But Clive John's Hammond organ style pushed their sound towards a unique psych-prog mix. The track "Erotica" with a four minute female orgasm to guitar freak-out became a European hit and was banned in the UK.
Don't Just Stand There (Come Out of the Rain) was another outstanding track that brought back memories of Itchycoo Park of the Small Faces.
Headphones are highly recommended for the journey through the concept album. First vinyl re-release in original packaging with Pye-label "Flipback".
