Mitglieder: Rollin Sullivan, geb. 19. 1. 1919 in Edmonton/ Kentucky John Sullivan, geb. 7. 7. 1917 in Edmonton/ Kentucky gest. 5. 6. 1967 Ken Marvin, geb. 27.6. 1924 in Haleyville/Alabama David Hooten, geb. in St.Clair/ Missouri Record Labels: RCA, Decca, Starday, Nugget, Columbia, GRC Erster Hit: Country Music Time (1961) Lonzo & Oscar, eines der berühmtesten Komikerduos der Country Music, waren aus dem Duo der Sullivan Brothers entstanden. Zusammen mit Ken Marvin trat Rollin Sullivan zum ersten Male als ,Lonzo & Oscar“ auf und als Marvin 1945 ausstieg, trat Johnny Sullivan an seine Stelle. Nach dem Tod von Johnny 1967 sprang Marvin noch einmal in die Rolle des Lonzo, wurde aber dann wenig später durch David Hooten abgelöst. Lonzo & Oscar waren über 20 Jahre lang die Attraktion an der Grand Ole Opry.
