Mitglieder: Mitchell „B“ Lilly, geb. 15. 12. 1921 in Clear Creek/Virginia Everett Lilly, geb. 1. 7. 1923 in Clear Creek/Virginia Record Labels: Page, Cozy, Event, Globe, Folkways, Prestige, County, Towa, Rounder Die Lilly Brothers kamen 1948 über einenJob beim WWVA Jamboree in Wheeling ins Country Music Business, nachdem sie vorher bei lokalen Radiostationen getingelt hatten. Beide sind versierte Bluegrass Musiker, Everett auf der Mandoline und „B“ auf der Gitarre. Everett spielte Anfang der 50er Jahre einige Zeit bei Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs. Später taten sie sich mit dem Banjospieler Don Stover zusammen, mit dem sie ein paar ihrer schönsten Songs auf Platte einspielten.
