Gegründet 1969 in Maidstone Die Gruppe entstand als Halbprofigruppe in Maidstone vor 5 Jahren. Gegründet von Pete Hewson. Wurde von Roger Easterby in Tudorhouse zu Maidstone 1970 entdeckt. Im Oktober 1972 ersetzte Rod Cloutt Dick Foster an den Keyboards. Populär wurde die Band vor allem durch die Verwendung des Moog, zum erstenmal erprobt bei Chicory Tip's bisher größtem Hit „Son Of My Father', der, wie die anderen Erfolgsnummern, aus der Feder von Giorgio Moroder stammt.
