La Luz
La Luz are a girl band from Los Angeles, California. Their sixties retro sound has a good reverb in the guitar amps and thus a nuance surf rock, which is rounded off by styles of the wild seventies.
Los Angeles is often described as the dream factory, enchanting orange sunsets framed by smog, hippy spiritualists meeting stingy narcissists, palm avenues courting commuters with colorful billboards. Against this background, the four members of La Luz singer/guitarist Shana Cleveland, drummer Marian Li Pino, keyboarder Alice Sandahl and bassist Lena Simon - 2018 have finished their third studio album Floating Features.
