Peter René Körner
* December 08, 1921 - December 20, 1989
Immediately after the war, he came to Cologne to work for the NWDR, where he produced radio broadcasts, and was discovered there as a singer. Körner gets engagements in operettas and musicals and goes on tour as a conférencier with artists like Marika Rökk and Zarah Leander. He also plays in some 50s movies. "When the Hein is in Rio" is one of the success numbers of the year 1949, which Körner performed among others with the reinforcement of the "Drei Nickels".
