(1988-2008 'Delta Groove') (50:26/12) When the Pontiax came to prominence during the late 1980s, they were one of the hottest acts on the US west coast. With their combination of the T-Birds' Texas energy, and the harmonica virtuosity of players like William Clarke, they soon became one of the leading bands in California. Young Mitch Kashmar was the singer and harmonica player. When the band members separated to go their own ways, '100 Miles To Go' remained the Pontiax' only musical legacy. In case you have missed the original LP issue, here's your chance. Augmented by two new recordings with the original line-up, the album is available, once again. One of the best albums, ever recorded by a Californian blues band. Highly recommended for all west coast blues, and harmonica fans.
