Erwin Halletz * 12 June 1923 - 27 October 2008 Halletz is a graduate of the Vienna Music Academy. He founds and directs his own dance orchestra and composes music for many films. He worked closely with Deutsche Grammophon during the 1950s. He accompanies the recordings of many singers, especially Polydor-Produktion-Süd. He also released records under his own name, for example "Liane, das Mädchen aus dem Urwald" from the film of the same name (1956).
