Jerry Fuller

Jerry Fuller, a singer with a country-tinged voice, recorded for Challenge from 1959 with little success, only 'Betty My Angel' and 'Tennessee Waltz' making any real impact on the charts. He is more important as a songwriter and producer for Ricky Nelson and, later, for Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. For Nelson he wrote 'Travelling Man', 'It's A Young Worlfld' and 'It's Up To You'. He wrote and produced Puckett's 'Over You' and 'Young Girl', which had a new lease of life in the British charts in 1974.
