Blaze Foley: Live At The Austin Outhouse (LP, 7inch, Ltd.)
(Lost Art Records) 14 tracks, limited record store day release!
Rare Blaze Foley recordings from the Austin Outhouse around 1989. "Live at the Austin Outhouse" features Blaze Foley, Austin's legendary singer-songwriter, at his last gig at the iconic Austin Outhouse.
Recorded over two nights in 1989, just days before his tragic murder, these twelve tracks are available on vinyl for the first time. Recorded by his friend John Casner, these now classic Blaze tracks were for years only available on handmade tapes to a small network of friends and fans.
This vinyl LP marks the twentieth anniversary of their first release.
As a bonus it contains one of the rare Blaze records from Zephyr Records (7inch, 45 RPM) from 1979. The Zephyr 45 was recorded in Houston, Texas on a label that quickly disappeared and was never commercially distributed.
The 45 contains a version of "If I Could Only Fly" and "Let Me Ride in Your Big Cadillac".
