geb. 27. 1. 1937 in Mishawaka - IndianaRecord Labels: Flying Fish, SonetBuddy Emmons, ein Stilist auf der Steel Guitar und daneben auch kein schlechter Sänger, begann in der Band vonJimmy Dickens, wirkte bei Ernest Tubb und Ray Price mitund gründete in Nashville zusammen mit Shot Jackson dieFirma „Sho-Bud“. Dann folgten Tourneen als Bassist mitRoger Miller, Sessionarbeit an derWestküste mit Ray Charles, Linda Ronstadt und Henry Mancini. Inzwischenbetreibt Emmons seine eigene Firma ,Emmons GuitarCompany“. Daneben ist er weiterhin als Sessionmusikertätig und produziert von Zeit zu Zeit auch seine eigenenPlatten.
