Some say vinyl is back, but it never really was gone! That is definitely true of the King's music. Over the years, BMG/Sony and several bootleggers have catered to the needs of the Elvis fan and released some beautiful vinyl items. Recent highlights are the lavishly outfitted FTD (Follow That Dream) LPs Ernst Jorgensen puts out. In 2014, alternative takes and unreleased songs from the 1969 Memphis sessions are out there.

Another nice item is the British 10" HMV release of 'My Baby Left Me' with its beautiful artwork. Music-On-Vinyl, on the other hand, has just re-released the 1996 BMG anniversary version of 'Elvis '56' RCA output – with many of the groundbreaking photographs by Alfred Wertheimer who is an artist of his own very much alike star photographer Helmut Newton. We also have star shaped or Christmas tree shaped vinyl singles, just in case. The good thing with vinyl, as with the King – there is no limit!

Some say vinyl is back, but it never really was gone! That is definitely true of the King's music. Over the years, BMG/Sony and several bootleggers have catered to the needs of the Elvis fan and released some beautiful vinyl items.
