(2003 'Electro-Fi') (54:41/12) Dieses Album ist schon eine Überraschung! Es ist das Debüt eines jungen Gitarristen, der nicht - wie man vermuten könnte - von der US-Westküste oder aus Boston stammt, sondern aus ... Padua, und das liegt in Italien. Seit einigen Jahren arbeitet Enrico jedoch in den USA, zunächst als gefeierter Gitarrist in einer der erfolgreichsten Bands des Swing-Revivals, der Royal Crown Revue. James Harman hörte ihn und engagierte ihn für seine eigene Band. Diese CD wurde in North Hollywood aufgenommen und ragt aus der Masse vieler gleichartiger Produktionen heraus. Ohne Rücksicht auf seine Kollegen fegt Enrico in einem Gitarren-Feuersturm los und spielt so überzeugend, daß er ernsthafte Konkurrenz für Kollegen wie Kid Ramos oder Alex Schultz werden kann. Sein Ton ist kraftvoll und aggressiv. Als Gäste gibt's mit Finis Tasby und Harman zwei gute Leute, und auch der Rest der Besetzung liest sich hervorragend. Ein sehr gutes Debüt / Debut recordings from a young guitar ace. He doesn't hail from the West coast, or Boston. Enrico is from ... Padova, Italia. Anyhow, he has been working in the US for the last couple of years, first as a member of the renown Royl Crown Revue, and later as the guitarist in James Harman's Band. His playing is powerful, his tone anything else but clean or thin. with his abilities he might become a threat to established guitarists like Kid Ramos, or Alex Schultz.
