geb. 8. 9. 1903 in Stephenville - Texas gest. 18. 4. 1936 Record Labels: RCA, Decca, Texas Rose, Charly Der Sänger und Bandleader Milton Brown gilt neben Bob Wills als einer der Schöpfer des Western Swing. Zusammen mit Wills wirkte er bei den legendären Light Crust Doughboys mit und gründete später seine eigene Band: „Milton Brown And His Musical Brownies“, eine stark jazz-orientierte Western Swing Gruppe. Milton Brown kam bei einem Autounfall ums Leben.
