He's one the last great guitar players of his generation. Last year he finally was rewarded with a 'W.C. Handy' award. This album probably was recorded in 1998 and shows Mel doing his regular job, playing a small club at night. The album was recorded with his regular band at 'Wally's Pub' in Guelph, Ontario.
