Englischer Sänger, der unter seinem richtigen Namen Berry lan Green zunächst als Sänger und Gitarrist seine Karriere beginnen wollte. Doch bevor die heutige Top-Rockgruppe ihre erste Platte aufnahm, war es damit vorbei. Als Komponist machte Barry Blue zunächst weiter, schrieb Songs für Gene Pitney, Cliff Richard, Tony Christie und Severine und arbeitete eng mit Lynsey De Paul zusammen. 1973 klappte es dann für ihn selbst. Mit dem Song „Dancing (on a Saturday Night)' setzte er sich in den Hitparaden durch. Geboren wurde er am 12.12.1950 in London. „You make me Happy' war seine letzte Single im Sommer 1975 - allerdings tauchte sie nicht mehr in den Hitparaden auf.
