The former Hollywood Fats Band singer and harpist is back with a new self-produced album. As an absolutely conservative bluesman, he simply doesn't think much of modern developments. His work sounds so puristic that it's fun again. Minimal effort, the greatest possible atmospheric result. The CD sounds excellent, warm and round. Just as you imagine an analog recording.
