APPLEJACKS (UK)

In late 1960, Martin Baggott (guitar), Phil Cash (guitar), Gerry Freeman (drums) and female bassist Megan Davies from Solihull formed an instrumental group called the Crestas, later changing their name to the Jaguars.  After adding keyboard player Don Gould and vocalist Al Jackson (real name Harry Llewellyn), they became the Applejacks and hit the UK charts in 1964 with 'Tell Me When'.
